Deanna is a Pennsylvania girl rooted in Hershey — but her story started somewhere much harder than chocolate and sweetness. She grew up in poverty, found hope at the Milton Hershey School, and spent 15 years giving that same hope back as a houseparent to children who needed someone to show up for them.

A speaker, author, and educator with more than 25 years of experience in ministry and leadership development, Deanna believes growth isn't something that happens in perfect conditions — it's something you learn to navigate when life is anything but.

Her work lives at the intersection of faith, leadership, and real life. She helps parents, educators, and leaders understand how character is formed long before it is tested — and how God doesn't waste a single chapter of the story He's writing in you.

She lives in Hershey, Pennsylvania with her husband Andy. They have two adult children and two grandchildren.
